Sid Grew up in North Little Rock Arkansas, having moved backed to His beloved State in 1997 after having been gone for 25 years. Sid has a background in photojournalism having worked in New York City. His photographs have been published in prominent and national publications such as the New York Newsday, New York Times, Time Magazine, Suffolk Magazine, The National Observer, Baltimore Jewish Times, The Christian Herald Magazine, Christian Life Magazine, Logos Magazine and Charisma Magazine. He is a passionate follower of Jesus and hopes that is reflected in his work. As the old adage goes “a picture is worth a thousand words”, his intent is that his work tells stories of everyday life, the beauty of the magnificent or the overlooked detail. It is a study of emotion, of light or perspective, texture, color and subject, or personality, or life and of faith. Whether it is in his fine art or sports photography, his portraits, events, people doing what they do, or people caught in the act of believing we hope you see the story that the photograph attempts to capture. They are stories of the moment that will last a life time in their telling.
